HOW DID YOU GET INTO MTB?

As a child my father got me interested in his passion for motorcycle trials. A few years later, I discovered a biker who practiced the same sport but on his bike. His balance and the ease of his riding style fascinated me so much that I tried bike trials for myself. The fact that you can turn any terrain into an obstacle course on a bike was the reason why I decided to switch to biking completely.

WHAT ARE YOUR CURRENT GOALS? BOTH IN SPORT AND IN LIFE?

My goal is to be part of the world elite at competitions and to make trial sport better known in Germany. Alongside my competitive sport I am studying. My aim here is to combine the skills from sport with those from my studies later on in a job.

WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST PERSONAL SUCCESSES?

Winning the runner-up world championship title in Glasgow in 2023 in the elite 26" bike trial category and winning the triple as the world and European champion as well as the German junior champion in 2018 and 2019.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU TRAIN AND WHAT DOES YOUR TRAINING LOOK LIKE?

I train 5 days a week. In addition to sport-specific training on the trial bike, I do strength, endurance and mobility training to improve my performance and to prevent injuries.

HOW DO YOU MOTIduties & taxesE YOURSELF BEFORE A RACE?

In bike trials, no two races are the same. The passion I have for my sport gives me that extra dose of motivation, to always ride the competition routes in a focused, error-free and flexible manner.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU'RE NOT ON YOUR BIKE?

Filming, photography, designing and music.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE REGION FOR MOUNTAIN BIKING?

My favourite routes are around Stuttgart & Heidelberg.

WHAT DOES OWAYO MEAN TO YOU?

owayo has been making my jerseys for a few years now. With owayo's online tool, I can make my own vision a reality and create the perfect look for me. The quality, the online designer and the customer support are all great!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE PRODUCT/PRODUCTS FROM OWAYO AND WHY?

My favourite product is the MTB ML6 Hero long-sleeved shirt. The fit, the breathable material and the mesh inserts make the jersey perfect for competitions and for training.
